Moving to London alone

Hi everyone!

I will be moving to London in September for my masters program in UCL and I'm currently very scared. I've been hearing lately how London can be super lonely ad people can be un-friendly! and I'm scared that I will not be able to adjust or make friendships. Can you talk about your experiences please? or what should I expect going there?

big cities aren't lonely, but strangers in london are generally not friendly. the lie you've been sold is that you'll be amongst a strange crowd, but as a student going to a big university you'll have plenty of opportunities to get and make friends - societies, clubs, classes are just the obvious ones
