I'm trying to choose between firming UCL or Imperial for Medicine. Anyone studying at either university, please let me know how your experience is going and what you would recommend
UCL - possibly better environment (have heard Imperial is more unpleasant) - shorter commute (living at home) - more diverse student body - intercalate in third year - main teaching hospital is quite close
Imperial - better rep - a lot of financial support available - possibly better teaching
Personally I'm leaning toward UCL because I feel that I just won't enjoy my time at Imperial, but people are saying I would be mad to choose UCL over Imperial. Course-wise I don't think there is much that differentiates the two and I'm just really stuck, so any advice would be appreciated!
