As far as i'm aware, politics is usually available in clearing however this will depend on the uni. You can get a idea of some of the courses and general advice about clearing here: https://www.kent.ac.uk/clearing/what-is-clearing

Did you get rejected. If so, why. It would be unusual for a university to accept someone the rejected.

No I got in for all 3 courses I just don’t think I’ll meet the offer

Have you spoken to Cardiff about what normally happens if applicants to your course miss their grades and the criteria they consider when deciding who to accept with lower grades?

You wouldn’t be using clearing if Cardiff are your firm choice

If you dont meet the offer they wont accept you in clearing. Universities often accept students with slightly missed grades. They accept student before going into clearing. Whatever they accept in clearing they will accept from students who have already applied.
