Do unis accept Level 3 Extended Diplomas?

I'm currently studying a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Media and want to do a subject related to that at university, but I'm just worried that it won't be accepted as it's not a traditional A Level as such and so would be deemed lower or something? Thanks :smile:
