A Level Results

Has anyone received any communication from their choice of university, some people from previous years have mentioned having received request for photo.

Universities receive A-level results in advance under embargo -- they are not allowed to give any indication that even hints at what the results are.

So even if they know that you've now got a place, they're not allowed to send out emails confirming it explicitly. They're not allowed to do anything that implies that you have been given a place (e.g. send you reading lists, confirm your place in accommodation, ask you to upload a photo for your ID card, etc).

I am reading posts from 2017 where candidates have been asked to send photos by Aston. Hence the question.
