IB students with UCAS offers waiting for confirmation(narrowly missed conditions)

To all those IB students who narrowly missed their offers to study in the UK, and have been asked to wait for confirmation till A level Results day- I wish to make a suggestion! This is a terribly anxious waiting period: neither do we have confirmation from our firm choices nor can we proceed via clearing.

I'd like to make the suggestion of creating a spreadsheet via this form, detailing our pending offers. I believe this will greatly reduce the ambiguity of this situation, shed some clarity and help us to find some comfort. This will surely give some sort of idea about the proportions of us who missed and hence the chances of us getting in regardless of missed conditions. Appreciate if you can fill in the following details ! I'll share the sheet link soon!

The problem is that IB and international results come out weeks before A level results. A level students form the bulk of those going to universities in the UK. Universities are duty bound to accept any students who meet their offers. They dont know how many have met their offers until the A level results are known. For this reason IB misses are put on hold.

ASs far as clearing is concerned you will be able to apply at the same time as A level students who are still waiting for their results. Why do you think you should have preferential treatment over them.
I'm not sure seeing other held IB offer holders is going to tell you much about the likelihood of being accepted, as it depends on a) the number of AL offer holders for the same course as you and b) the results of those same offer holders.
