How easy is it to have a part time job when doing A levels?

Hey! I had a part-time job during my a levels and managed it fine  I think the most important thing to do is to find somewhere that is understanding and knows that your A levels are your priority.

I worked in fast-food and had an 8 hour contract. I either worked two evenings a week after sixth form or worked one day at the weekend. This was perfect for me as I still had lots of time to do my work and I saved some money for summer and uni  I would say that between 4 and 12 hours is an ideal amount of time to work each week while you're also studying. Lots of retail/fast food and hospitality places look for people who can just work a few hours a week.

Hope that helps!

Hey @Jjajsjieieejeji, how are you?

It's all about getting the right balance. As long as the job doesn't take up too much of your studying time then it should be fine. Try not take on too many hours as you might start feeling too tired or under pressure when it comes to your A-Levels.

Most course providers recommend less than 15 hours a week

What courses are you studying?
