LSE freshers wristbands

So from what I understand the only wristbands worth buying are the student union ones that should include a ‘battle of the halls’ day and an ‘icebreaker’ day and all that jazz but on the website they’re now saying there will only be individual events.. that being 2 events… instead of the usual 6…

Have they genuinely just cancelled all those other events we freshers usually get? Do I just buy the london wristbands atp.. at least those are for 7 nights?

from what i understand they are almost always never worth buying

with the events featured on the lsesu for freshers, is it worth buying tickets before arrival, or wait until you arrive at your accommodation?
