When to take PGDL and SQE?

Hello!

I'm a 2022 graduate who has been working for just over a year. I'm somewhat confused about when to apply for the PGDL and SQE - if I secured a training contract in autumn 2024, would I then do the PGDL and SQE between Autumn 2024 and Autumn 2026?

It varies depending on the firm eg one City firm says "Applications for the September 2026/March 2027 non-law intake (for non-law finalists and graduates) will open on Friday 1 September 2023 and will close on Thursday 30 November 2023 at 11.59pm." So those people would be applying this Autumn, perhaps have interviews etc in early 2024 and offers in early 2024 and start a PGDL sept 2024/25 then start SQE course Sept 2025/26 and start work Sept 2026.
