Have you spoken to the college to see what they'll be offering next year?

I can appreciate it's confusing right now. Perhaps give it a few months, or until the end of the year (2023), to see if they can confirm the details.

The BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment (equivalent to 1.5 A levels) is still funded for 24/25 starts, but not the Ext Diploma. You may be able to do this alongside A levels. Alternatively the College may run the new T Levels https://www.tlevels.gov.uk/students/subjects/building-services-engineering instead. speak to the college and get them to clarify what they will be doing next September.

Most BTECs are being de-funded if there is an applicable T level. This includes Engineering. see the list below; https://feweek.co.uk/another-93-courses-face-the-chop-to-make-way-for-t-levels/
