Universities caring about attendance?
Hey guys,
I'm currently in sixth form and I was wondering if universities care if I have lower attendance for school. It's currently at 87% halfway thru Yr12 and the issue is I have no legitimate reason for it. I usually make up some excuse about being ill and work from home (essentially bunking but it's because I'm learning a lot better from home.) I've already missed an opportunity to be part of the head team because they don't consider me to be 'reliable'. I'm on track to get really good grades for university but I'm going to be applying for a really competitive course and I'm worried my attendance will be an issue? Can anyone help?
