Hi eveyone, I'm applying to some highly competitive unis (LSE/UCL) for courses involving Economics. But I've been rejected pretty fast, receiving feedback that my GCSEs basically aren't competitive enough. I'm wanting to retake at least one of them, with maybe up to 6 retakes.

Specifically, one which is a 5 in English Literature, I'm not sure about the workload. The rest would be STEM + Maths.

Would it be manageable with retaking an A-Level also?
