11 weeks? Don't you get bored?

:nope: not at all.

I come home to England every summer, to hang out with my friends who I had to leave behind (and who I miss loads), and therefore I enjoy every moment of it!
8:50-3:40 for me.

School before was 8:55-3:30

However the lunch hours were different lengths, 1 hour for the one now and 50 minutes for the one before.

8:50-3:30 at my school/sixth form.

At the school where I had to go for AS chemistry it was 8:45-3:00 :O
Mine was 8.50-3.35 split into 5 lessons lasting an hour each.
In sixth form you had at least one free period a day and usually got to go home before lunch at least once a week- although if people had more than one free afternoon they chose their official one then stayed til they were registered and went home on the others.
depends on the school- mine is 8:40- 3:20
My current school starts at 9 and ends at 3.15.. I think that's easy time tbh.
My other secondary school started at 8.50 and ended at 3.30.. long day!

Infants: 8:50 - 3:15
Juniors: 8:45 - 3:30
Previous Secondary: 8:40 - 3:40 Monday to Thursday, 8:40 - 2:10 Fridays
Currents Secondary: 8:40 - 3:45

It sucks but we have half an hour for break and an hour for lunch  and as a prefect I can leave when I like :woo:
Mine was 9.15am - 3.15pm. Not too bad really.

I'm not in England, but my school times were:

Primary School: 9am-3.15pm with a hours lunch and 15 minute morning break
High School: 8.55am/9am - 3.30pm though in 6th year if you had free periods you could come in late and leave early. Lunch was 45 minutes and we had a 15 minute morning break.
8:20a.m. - 2:50p.m.
When I was a school, the day began at 8.50 am with registration and ended at 3.35pm with one hour for lunch.

My school starts at 8:45 and ends at 3:15 each school is different but I am in year 9 !
well, i see most of us/uk school starts at 8 or 9 AM and ends at 3-4 pm.
but here in indonesia, there was two types of school
1. standart, starts at 7 AM ends, at 11.30 Am, break for 10 minutes.
2. Full Day, starts at 7 AM, Ends at 3.30 PM(very Extreme), first break 10 minutes, launch break an hour.

well, i'm the fullday ones, and i'm really get bored, imagine that, 13 hours and 20 minutes of sitting+writing. and i'm JHS(junior High School, grade 7-9), no laptops, no phones, no multimedia presentations, only books, pen, and whiteboard

mine was 9-3 for years 7-11 then in 12 & 13 it varied considerably but between 9-4:30
My schools 7:50-2:40 and there are early morning classes that start at 7 if you want to do extra languages. And when you get to GCSE's a lot of our teachers hold classes and catch up sessions after school and on weekends so we can finish school up to about 4:30
