Physics unit 2 circuits.

I have no idea again, I'm guessing I'll be using P=IV, but I'm not sure how to do any of it really? I'm sure if I was to be told a I could get the rest? Cheers.

I think I could do it if it was in series, but it being in parallel is throwing me...

In a parallel circuit, the voltage across each "section" is the same - in this case V(s) - 240V - the supply voltage.

Since we already know the power (100W) use P=IV.

I = 100/240 etc...

Edit: That was the explanation for 1a). Is that what you wanted?

Next time take a second look at your answer and see if it looks realistic - 895A is literally an unheard of amount. It's a good exam technique. :tongue:

Yeah I tried that way round first, but I didn't like the answer but it makes all of the other answers look better, cheers.
