Urgent Care Centre - what does it mean ?

My local A&E has closed several months ago and now is an 'urgent care centre'. Does anyone know what exactly do these places treat ?

We used to have a walk in centre but this closed as well, is the urgent care center just another walk-in-centre with a different name ? Also who works there - are people reviewed by nurse specialisits / A&E doctors / GPs ? Is it just a GP out of hours service with a few specialist nurses that really do not provide much service ?

Sorry but I am really not sure what these places are meant to be. Maybe if some people can let me know their experience if they have been in one this will be interesting also as no one seems to understand what these places are ! Thanks.
The Urgent Care Centre has replaced the previous Walk-in Centre. You should attend the Urgent Care Centre if you have a minor illness or injury that requires urgent medical attention or advice

so basically it is just basically GP and a couple of nurses ?

i dont think i would waste my time with that place if that is the case, i do not think many things are both 'minor' and 'urgent' .
That's what I've heard, yeah :/ tbh I don't really see the point
