I got an absorbance value of 0.374 at 280nm using an e2 protein is this absorbance high, low or in range?

Hi, it depends on the molar concentration of your protein in the solution - the greater the conc-n, the higher the absorbance value - so from the info given, your Q cannot be answered - sorry!
