The Right Honourable Lord Harley of Counsel

Alan Blacker first rose to fame in 2014 for turning up to court dressed like 'Harry Potter'.

He then caught the attention of the solicitors regulators authority after posting a rather colourful profile on LinkedIn, unfortunately Linkedln made the decision to remove his profile, however screenshots can be found on the internet.

Alan Blacker was accused of several things at a solicitors disciplinary tribunal, the most interesting being lying about and inventing qualifications:

"He claims he was a Commanding Officer Emergency Care Practitioner at the Royal College of Surgeons.
He attended a two-day intensive course, but that would not make him a practitioner, even medical students would only be called observers.
He then called up the RCS asking for a letter saying he passed his exam. When they refused, he then threatened them with legal action via several text messages."

"He also gives the qualification of being 'Senior Trial and Appeal Counsel, Grade A Civil, level four Criminal'. Again, no such title exists."

He refused to attended the tribunal as it coincided with his birthday and he had incurred an injury whilst performing CPR.

In 2019 he found himself in hot water yet again, this time he was convicted of fraudulently claiming £23,000 worth of disability benefits.

Well I heard that Labour is going to be in need of a new leader in the not so distant future.

The Right Honourable Lord Harley of Counsel wouldn't be able to make their chances of winning a general election worse.

Well, reading that has killed an hour for me.

This guy is either a Walt of the highest order or a complete fantasist.

Until I came across him on Google, I was unaware that human beings like this exist.

Did you get around to reading the judgment made by the solicitors disciplinary tribunal?

This is probably my favourite part of it.
