For GCSE AQA Biology (higher) do you need to know the stages of the cell cycle (mitosis) in detail? For instance, do you need to know about the interphase, metaphase, etc.?

Yep! Make sure you can identify what stage is happening from images and be able to describe what's happening - those questions are usually 1-3 marks if I remember correctly! :smile:
