Hi! I've been looking at uni courses on the UCAS website (currently in year 11 but they keep pushing careers stuff) and I'm looking at the University of Manchester. With courses such as Materials Science, Manchester offers loads of different Msc 4 year courses, all specialising in different things (polymers, nanomaterials, metallurgy etc). When applying for these courses, would I have to apply for a specific course, or would I apply for Materials Science in general and specialise after a couple of years? It seems like a big decision when I don't know which one would be best for me. I asked the careers advisor but she didn't know the answer (or the answers to any other questions). Thank you!
