Can i change university after my first year but still do the same course?

I wanted to do Chemical Engineering at UCL 2009/2010, and the offer was AAB. However on results day i got BBC, which just really sucks cos I soo badly wanted to go to UCL. Therefore im now goin to my insurance which is Surrey University.

So im wondering if I do my first year at Surrey Uni. can i change to UCL second year and still do Chemical Engineering.

If yes, what would i do? do i call UCAS or call UCL? and possibly when should i contact them?

Give Surrey a try, and if you're still convinced you want to transfer after about January then contact UCL and ask. If they agreed you'd need to apply through UCAS
