I thought that the latest Star Wars absolutely sucked. The really good special effects could not come close to compensating for a truly pathetic storyline, bad script, and miserable acting. Just awful.

I simply do not understand how anyone can dislike that film. It's unbelievable. The only other film that got to me as much was black hawk down (another great film).

For one thing it's overly sentimental.

It's also stupid but that true of many Hollywood films.

I'm sure you've seen the "Everything Wrong with" YouTube videos .

Actually I must look and see if there's one for Shawshank.Reallyhope so.

Anyway it's ok tolike the movie if you're 18 :smile:

To be fair, it was fun cinema entertainment, but I reckon it would be exceedingly boring to rewatch. Wasn't exactly a classic. Got nothing on The Empire Strikes Back or Star Wars/A New Hope in that regard.
