I'v got this same problem, have had it since about the 3 week of term, an am at home now an havn't managed to get out of it yet. I'm severly disorganised and hv missed sooo many lectures because of it, i think it is a sign of depression this being nocturnal.

Could be insomnia? there are differnt types but some people (including me) find it hard to sleep at night time but easy during the day. I'm still at college and simply dont have a choice but to try and get any sleep I can at night. I wake up at 6 and try to be in bed at like 10.30 - but usually take and hour or so getting to bed, and wake up 5ish times at night. Also I have sleep paralysis and for some reason I only get it in the dark, but if I sleep during the day or with a light on I dont get it haha.

Ironically I hate sleeping with a light on...and I have no fear of the dark. I hate the fact I seem to crave sleep during the day and when it comes to night my body seems so unwilling to accept the fact its bed time!
