on first day of uni?

Cant beat a lightwash skinny jean with a great pair of flat shoes, you can make a chioce of these.. with a nice little top, ive got in mind a nice white shelf singlet with a little Teal cutout overwrap and a nive big metallic gold belt.
wear what you usually wear, it's really not that important. My 1st day I think I just wore jeans with a Casual T-shirt. People arent exactly gunna judge you on your 1st day... In fact thats a lie, I pretty much judges every person I met before knowing them but pffffft....

Wear something that is tried and tested, and that you know looks good. An outfit that creates a sense of comfort and confidence in you.

I wouldn't do anything too wacky or experimental on your first day.

I've been thinking about this! im glad its not just me! As much as you say that you wouldnt judge someone on the way they looked, i still think its important to make the effort!

I think I'm going to wear my bright blue cardigan so that I stand out and people remember me
I'm going to wear something comfortable for travelling(I assume you mean moving in day...)....probably denim skirt and t-shirt or something.

Your there to learn, drink, gat naughty and experiment with banned substances....not for fashion!

*NB- This post does not endorse the use of banned substances or encourage anyone to get naughty in freshers week (unless thier partner is really hot/me, in which case... )!

Make sure its comfortable...i reckon everyone will make an effort first couple of weeks, then after that be like who cares?
Think about the things you have to do.

* Travel, perhaps for quite a long time.
* Unpack, move things around and lift things.
* Start socialising with people straight away.

So you need something comfortable and practical, but which also looks good. People will judge you straight away. This is more for you than for anyone else. Even if someone looks at your clothes and thinks you don't have that much in common with them, they will undoubtedly form a much more thorough opinion of you once they get to know you properly, and may come to feel completely differently about you. But you can't deny that turning up in something you know makes you look good will help give you the confidence to talk to people and start making friends.

I'm going to wear trainers, a nice pair of jeans and a pretty T-shirt or jumper. If it looks too bland, I'll accessorise.

where something you feel confident in. Make the effort you normally go to, and add an hour. don't try anything new - the first impression is not the place to experiment.

I'm thinking understated class. Probably some tight fitting designer jeans with a simple shirt and a big chunky belt.

actually i might leave the blue blouse until the next day, lol. I have no idea what I'll wear, I'll have to check the weatherforecast before I can tell really.
