I turned down a £31k job in the insurance sector today!

It felt so good haha! Don't regret it at all because i got a 27k job offer on saturday in an industry I prefer! Job i love with less money is better than job i wouldnt mind on a higher salary right?

Nobody cares. There are people here on incomes from zero to 100k most likely. Who are you trying to impress?

£4,000 is not much difference in gross pay after tax and NI.

There will be at least one i'd imagine. There are middle aged people on here, i'm sure there's a headteacher of a secondary school too. It was meant to highlight that there are plenty of people on bigger and smaller incomes than his.
