Classes for MSc Social Research

Hi guys! So I'm heading to Edinburgh this autumn to study the MSc in Social Research programme - pretty excited to see what it'll be like! I've been having trouble finding out more about the optional classes you can take in this programme though, given that I don't know anyone there and there doesn't seem to be any discussion threads or sites like ratemyprofessor which covers the courses or professors (eusa's course reviewer seems to be down too - or does it have a new link?). So, I was wondering if anybody here who's done the programme or knows anything about it might be willing to talk about their experience/knowledge and give a few pointers? i.e. this professor's cool, that professor's harsh, this class is boring that class easy, you get interesting hands on experience, etc? I realize that it'll be pretty subjective, but I'd just like to see what the overall impression of this programme is like.
