Financing a Gap Year
Hey all,
I've been interested in a gap year for some time now as I'm in my last year of school. I would really love to go abroad either with a humanitarian organisation such as the red cross, or something similar. However, the main issue is cost. I have a part-time job but I hear it costs an average of £3000 to go abroad for a year if you're volunteering.
Anyone have any tips??

Anyone have any tips??
You could do a short thing abroad (just a few weeks), and then when you come back, volunteer in a local project alongside part-time work. 
(Or even full-time, depends on what you want!)
