Placement year but 2.2
Although I haven’t got my first year results yet, I’m pretty sure I’ve got a 2.2. I reallt wanted to do a placement year but they say you need a 2.1 to do it so surely I’d be disadvantaged?
I wanted to do one because it will help so much in the future, what can I do? I do have some mitigating circumstances, could I use these or would they not be looked at?

The best thing to do is just email whoever is in charge of it and explain, I think it will just come down to how many people have applied for a placement year with a 2.1 and if they could do with more people on that course or not. Hope it works out for you!
You can still apply. Most places will ask for a predicted grade so you can still put 2:1.
