Entry requirements for law

For law, the university asks for Higher English at a B, however, I got a C. I'm doing Advanced Higher English though, so I wanted to ask if I did well (say got an A or B) in the Advanced Higher, would I be able to apply or would I not be able to apply because of the C?

I think your best option would be to contact the university to see if they think it is worthwhile for you to apply, then they can guide you further.
