Defer an offer

I am an international student and I would like to know if it is possible.
I have received a conditional offer from an uni. Can I defer my offer if I would like to resit my public exam? Or I need to reject my current offer and reapply next year. Thank you.

You need to ask the university.

If you are no longer taking the qualifications required in your offer or you know you are going to fail a qualification - and therefore you cannot now meet that offer - you will be rejected and have to reapply next year. You cannot 'defer' an offer to carry that offer forward to the following year.
