I personally really like the Pilot V7, its got quite a fine line and with the refillable version it will last for ever, I'm still running one from 2, maybe 3 years ago as a backup. The only issue really is the tip is a very thin bit of wire, which is fine in normal use, but if you're prone to getting angry in exams you could easily bend it way out of shape making it unusable
