Igcse first language english

Hello all I want to enter the first language English igcse. I am a private candidate with texts I've found online. I've solved quite a few past papers, which I feel helps more than the textbooks which just seem to be so lacking and have so many gaps. I've seen videos and read websites and a few have mentioned that there is a list of nonfiction texts that are recommended that go along with this course. Is this listed in the textbook that I have missed or what? These recommended texts are supposed to broaden your knowledge I guess. But where is this list of recommended texts at??? Please I would appreciate any help! My fear about this exam is a subject matter I have no clue about, so that's why these recommended texts would help. I am taking the harder science and math igcse exams and this English one is just freaking me out to be honest!! Sorry for long question and thank you
