So presumably if Africa was lightyears ahead of Europe in terms of technology, culture, human rights, average life expectency and literacy rates etc you wouldn't be able to conclude that Africans are more intelligent than Europeans because in 500-1000 years from now Europe may catch up! It's a novel argument I suppose, but not one I'd agree with.

You're not very bright are you? You actually believe that every country and society on the African continent is 500-1000 years behind even the most advanced of countries. If that were the case, the African wouldn't even be Homo Sapiens Sapiens, he would be an entirely different species of man, a less advanced one and ergo, he would have been extinct much like the Cro-Magnon man, Homo Neanderthalensis, Homo Erectus etc.

Clearly that's not the case. The only human species to exist now is Homo Sapiens Sapiens of which every human alive today is a part of.

Please - you clearly aren't well-versed in history. History shows how societies advance and also fall and rise again etc etc. So, we're clearly talking decades here. One only need to look at China in 1900, a nation in decline and heavily controlled by foreign nations, and China now.

Can I just outline something as well...When people say black people, it's not just Africa It's the flipping Caribbean as well. Africa has many affluent places and is where most of the things you use i.e.- oil, cocoa and sugar come from. Stop dissing Africa, it's a beautiful place with many kind-hearted people. There are loads of rich countries like South-Africa, Nigeria and Egypt, there is just a lot of corruptness in Africa where money is not handled by the right people, the governments can be very stingy... again, may be out of context but it had to be said. FFS Threads like these make me mad...

No I didn't misread your post. You said that 500 years ago homo sapiens (sapiens?) didn't exist. There's no wriggle room in this interpretation either, it's all there in black and white so to speak.

And you won my idiot award for believing that early Humans evolved directly from 'monkeys', when in fact monkeys and Hominids (and Great apes) had an common ansestor 30-8 million years ago. Yes, Human Supremacist made an chronological mistake in the evolution of humans but you should not derail this thread by posting stupid responses.

In reply to your post about the time scale it would take Africa to "catch up" (500-1000years), I cited the example of China and then I ridiculed your timescale and joked that it must then follow that Africans were a different species of man, because in the modern day, no society would take several centuries to "catch up".
