Projectile motions help

A cannon is fired at 30° to the horizontal with an initial velocity of 20m/s and the cliff is 30m above ground.

I found out the horizontal velocity is 17.32m/s and the vertical is 10m/s. I know the time taken to reach it's peak velocity is 1.02 seconds and I need to find out how far the cannon travels in total from the top of the cliff but I'm not really sure how to do this.

Can someone talk me through it please?

if you know how long it took to go up....
if will take the same time to go down....
then add the time it takes to go the extra 30m down (i assume you count accel due to grav as 9.8)...

add all these times up....

use horizontal velocity...

s=vt

BAM ill take the pos feedback :smile: (note i never checked your original workings)
