How?

Well, its simple.

You are letting the government control how you bring up your children.
Just because the government has so many laws against the upbringing of children, doesn't mean they are on your side.

For instance, social services, yes it is fine to have these people around to help those in NEED. But something as minor as being late for school, results in social services being called round because your parents are the ones at fault. No not really.

It is the selfish people in this country who do a bad job of upbringing their kids who don't mind the way the government controls us.

It is also the selfish kids who need a good wacking, that use the government against their own family. If you mum or dad wants to hit you to reinforce obedience, let them. Although sometimes it may be wrong, such as cases where it really is abuse. The mild verbal abuse and threats that parents give children which are harmless does not mean the government services are needed.

The government uses theirs laws that are in favour of the minors, to get votes and increase power.


There needs to be a balance. Just because some families or people out there are REALLY bad, doesn't mean the whole population needs to be punished. Furthermore, what obediance do kids in this country have anyways ? what morals do they have? NONE. The culture is that you can do what you want when you want as long as it does not physically harm anyone else AND you can say whatever you want because it is a free world, even if it is hurtful to others.

It's not the physical agression of people in this country, it is emotional aggression that people like to emit onto others, which increases the depression rate.

Children/teens etc. Have no respect what so ever, and the government reinforces that, otherwise there will be riots and what not.

Lets take bullying for example, cyber bullying. We can not even grow as humans by communicating online without police patrol and the wrongings who like to play victim.

if some one tells you to go 'jump of a cliff' online, does that mean that was the cause of your death? It is your own stupid fault. The government cannot keep reinforcing stupidity.

There's a point to be made in what the OP says (there's also a lot of other stuff too mind but...)

For the state to be able to do ANYTHING enough people have to allow it to happen. And it's debatable but it's not unreasonable to think that the state has too much say and control in the way children are brought up.

Hoping to not misrepresent too much the views of the OP and hopefully add some sanity back into this conversation.

Oh yes, let me add.

people only support the law because they are trying to get their own way. it is a way of showing sarcasm rather than supporting the party and their views.

If people really care about domestic violence, for example, then why not have some law against attacks OF THE SIBLINGS.

So it is fine for siblings to bully each other but it is not fine for parents to reinforce their kids..

The same children that bully their brother or sister is the same disobedient child that that uses the law to blackmail their own parents.
