I was reading about a white transracial guy who identifies as Filipino.

They wouldn't be, I literally said they wouldn't be, it's opposed to what everyone on the left want. The progressives see it as racist and transphobic, the regressives see it as a way of losing their monopoly on being the victims of racial oppression.

Are you assuming that by transracial, it is changing your ethnicity from an ethnic to minority to white?

Nope
My guess is more people will start subscribing to it just because they can but I doubt anyone will actually take them seriously because your race is defined by your genetics and ancestry.

But it won't stop people jumping on the old bandwagon about it and shouting for their cause and being "offended" on behalf of others. Not many people are truly transgender, but it hasn't stopped a lot of progressives from taking on their cause and protesting for them.

The people who get offended on the behalf of others, are largely comprised of the people I referred to in my previous post.

I hope not. This "progressive" thing has gone too far. Transgenderism is fine by me because some people are genuinely non-binary (biology is messy). But there isn't really a proper definition of a race in the same way one exists for gender. After all, everyone's African if you go back maybe 5000 generations. I feel that people who are uncomfortable with their race are either trying to take advantage of these "progressives" or are like that because they suffer racial opression. The solution to the latter case is tackling any racial oppression, not having people change race.

^This. It quite odd for people to suddenly declare they are another race.Things such as your health,which is affected by race,is not going to change if someone decides they are another race.Choosing what you want to be can only go so far.
