Is it now considered socially acceptable for women to assault men in our society?

I have seen multiple real life scenarios where women assault men, and bystanders will simply laugh. Is it now considered acceptable in our society for a woman to assault a man, even in public, without consequence?

A few examples:

A feminist protest in England (ironically arguing against violence against women). One of the women protestors repeatedly assaults and beats a man to the floor, while bystanders laugh

Another in the US

I also see girls slapping guys in a club or something all the time, no consequence

The list goes on.

Well it seems its more acceptable than a man hitting a women, even if its self defense. So i suppose so.
Well the first one it was a wind up, clearly not an honest mistake, and why is he kneeling in the second, looks consensual to me. Not good examples.

Its not acceptable for men to do it to women and vice versa...
I hope not! Today is #internationalmensday and issues such as violence and suicide in the male community are raised.
Wouldn't say it's acceptable , but society has always seen women abusing men as a small matter.

You only have to do a quick search on Youtube to find endless videos of women publicly assaulting men with no consequence.

Well it proves my point, it's a social experiment showing women beating a guy to the point of broken bones, slamming his head against walls etc. in the view of the public, and bystanders ignore it

Yes, it is socially acceptable and for the most bs reasons to. It's different if you are in a relationship, then you shouldn't hit a woman, but if it's just day to day life, example.. This fat Indian girl hit me once, it's funny because she was so fat and slow, it felt like I was in the Matrix, of-course I had drank so I just stood there like wtf. Now If I had hit her back, and believe me I wanted to, I would have been the guy that puts his hands of women and so-forth, when really I would have just been acting towards her the same way I'd act towards a male that did the same thing.

Now of-course some people reading this may go onto say, well Men on average are stronger than the average woman, and that is true, but surely the principle reasoning of you not hitting someone after they've hit you, should not be because that person can hide behind their gender to avoid repercussions, as far as I know, being a woman doesn't entitle you to do onto others what you don't expect to have done onto yourself. Writing this makes me want to punch that fat girl, ahh
I like to think it is. It has something to do with women being the weaker sex, and the idea men shouldn't hit women. If a woman hits a man no one really thought she left a mark. A common reaction , when we see a woman hit a man is : I wonder what that man to make her do that. Is it right? Nope. But hey that's just society. Even if the woman is giving a man a smack down in public and the man chooses to defend himself, guess who is going to get in trouble? That's right! The man.

It's been acceptable forever. Of course in a time of equality that should change

I think it's disgusting. Hitting someone is always wrong unless it's self defence. Some women use their gender to get away with assault. They are fully aware that society demonise males who hit females so the victim is less likely to hot them back.

I agree with this, it is disgusting. If they want to treat everyone equally then they shouldn't be saying that you are not allowed to hit woman.
No it's not, if people say it is acceptable then it just makes all women look like weaklings who can't defend themselves which isn't true. I know some fairly big women who could have a lot of men so no men should be able to defend and stick up for themselves.
