Can anyone please clarify the link between the enthalpy of formation of a compound to its enthalpy of combustion? As well as how to find the Enthalpy of combustion when formation data is given and vice versa. I'm quite confused so any help will be much appreciated.

http://www.chemguide.co.uk/physical/...tics/sums.html This page explains it quite nicely, it's all about using Hess's law. Give it a read and if you don't understand something feel free to ask!
