We need to look at the power dissipated in the lamps connected in series.
P = I2R

We can see that the power will increase as the current in the lamp increase even if the resistance remains constant or increase (which should be the case as the lamp is non-ohmic).

But if the resistance decrease, the situation is a bit complicated. I don't think you are required to analyse such situation.
