Help maths asymptotes

How do I work out where the asymptotes is in any graph and this example plz help me I’ve been stuck for so longIMG_2048.jpeg

Try to convert this to base e first and then use what you know about the properties of e to figure out the function's end behavior (i.e. x -> infinity and x -> -infinity). This will help you find out a horizontal asymptote.

As for vertical asymptotes, think about what the function's domain is, and what does it imply about vertical asymptotes (or perhaps lack thereof).

Have you looked at curves of the form y=ax y = a^x for some constant a? They're all basically the same :smile:
