The right hand grip rule reminds you which way the magnetic field points around a current carrying conductor.

Flemings left hand rule reminds you of the relationship between the direction of a magnetic field, an electric current and force. There's different versions of the left hand rule on the internet, seems to be an american one and a british one, so probably stick with the one you were taught in lessons or your textbook to avoid confusion.
