BRUNEL uni + UXBRIDGE....social scene...if any?!!

iv defered my entry to Brunel uni (again) to study physio. Being a bit of a social / party animal :cool:

can anyone tell me if Brunel has anything going for it and uxbridge...i have this awful gut feeling im not going to enjoy myself. Please help me to remove this feeling with any info on student life in uxbridge,

its not going to be as good as a big city! i dont really know. i declined my offer from brunel based on that i heard bad things about uxbridge (i had to decide between there and aston somehow!) and some students already studying there didnt think much of the place. i dont really know tho.

Hi .. I am only in 6th form BUT - i live in uxbridge... and i have been to the Brunel campus many times as its the nearest uni to my school so we go there on trips and stuff..
Uxbridge social life--- not the best i have to say , it is quite small, but on the underground central london is only half an hour away.
there is shopping centres really close by, its also close to harrow, ruislip and watford....
as a campus it looked quite cosy when i went , and lounge seemed friendly
I hope i helped, u should try to meet some people from the uni and ask questions or something

uxb aint bad.... not many clubs tho, jus pubs. good for shopping.... i didnt lik brunel (too close to home) looks lik a good uni tho and london wud b good for clubbing!!
