Brunel OT MSc 2023

Hi,
Has anyone else got a place for the occupational therapy MSc at brunel? Been struggling to access their timetable website or find any kind of reading/module list!! This is for sept entry
Hi Celoise, can I ask if you have started OT at Brunel? If so, how are you finding it? We have been having issues in our cohort

Many issues - feels a lot like we’re teaching ourselves, barely any communication over email from lecturers, feel like the most I’ve personally learnt is from knowing OTs outside of uni. I know for sure I’m not the only one with this opinion!! I would have gone to Brighton if not for having to wait an extra academic year. At this point I just want to graduate and have a job and will learn then lol

Hi Celoise, do you know if it’s the same for physio? I am thinking of going to Brunel for Bsc Physio this year. Thanks!

Hi Celoise, I am sorry to hear about your experience in Brunel and would like to ask a few questions about it. Do you consider the peer-to-peer learning method or program design harm your performance in placements and prevent you from graduating?

I’m currently at Brunel about to go into my 2nd year for physio and I’ve had no problems. Our teaching staff are fantastic and are all specialists in their areas. This means you’re only ever taught a module by a really knowledgeable lecturer. The cohort gets split into smaller groups so it feels a lot more personal and you really get to know everyone. It honestly feels like a family!
