Hey guys,
I am 13, and am going to be starting year 9 in the next week.
I got really confused by trying to understand what exactly happened to the way GCSE's were handled. I have realised that the government made major changes.
Recently, I found out that in the past people can choose a lot of GCSE's. However, the amount my school could do was around 7-8. It involved around 6 core subjects, a decision between Geography and History. And 1 extra subject, like GCSE ICT or Food Technology.
However, I heard that people could take more, going into double digits. So why can't I?
I am one of the smartest students in my year groups.
Thanks in advance!
