Taking my driving test in a month and a half

Practical. The big one. First time. Any tips, etc?
No tips I'm afraid, just luck! I'm taking mine next week

Basically just be careful with your observations, looking for hazards. Take your time with the manoeuvre. Be confident in yourself that you can do it.

If you don't know your left from your right, don't bother turning up.

Other than that, all the best!
Try and relax - get a good night sleep before, eat well, not too much coffee! Also, ignore the writing - it is disconcerting, but try to blank it out. And if you get Left and right wrong, don't worry - they are looking at how you handle a car, not if you get L + R mixed up so don't panic if you do.

Congratulations, what was it like?

No, I haven't taken mine yet, I'm going to push it back a bit as well, I want to make sure I'm ready.
Don't be too hesitant. I nearly failed because of it. Also, keep your power up so you don't stall.

Thank you! It wasn't as bad as I imagined it to be. I was really nervous and thought I'd failed not long after it started, which helped me relax a bit and the rest of it went smoothly. I truly thought I'd failed, so I was really surprised when it turned out I'd passed!

Best of luck for when you take yours, it's great to wait until you feel ready to take it
