Yeah, it's ludicrous how much you get to do. I don't think he gets how long it takes when you haven't been learning long (which I imagine is why you get so much to do in the exam). I used to set aside an entire day ...

EDIT: In my third year I skived loads of Old English classes and didn't even do many of the translations. Yet I got 15 marks higher in my Old English exam. Go figure. (It's because Old English is so much ****ing easier, although it is also not as fun.)

tbh my ideal wedding (and I think very little about this) would probably be a lot like that party the hobbits have in the first lord of the rings movie where everyone drinks a ton of cider and dances around like idiots to folk music while barefoot and then there's a ton of fireworks and then at the end i magically disappear due to an evil ring (OMG THIS COULD BE SYMBOLISM??? this has just occurred to me.)

I did set aside last Wednesday to do all of it and then set aside all of today to do all of it but instead of doing it I have done ****-all except post on the internet and watch Bad Television. Skiving is imminent. Think I'll have another beer and watch House instead.

nic cage is turning on the christmas lights in my town this year and i am missing it which imo is a tragedy. my mum has entered me into a competition to win a ONE ON ONE DINNER with nic cage though so if i win i am totally ditching lectures and spending £100 on a train ticket home for this amazing once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. and then another £20 on a bee costume.
