Would having a buzz cut, as a girl, affect my interview chances for medicine?

I can't personally see why it would. However I have no idea.

It really, really shouldn't. However, interviewers can be a conservative bunch, and I'd normally advise girls to avoid dyeing their hair blue pre-interview and to remove non-traditional piercings, so I'm not sure I could say "It'll be fine!" with 100% confidence.

If it's really important to you then don't be put off by these non-evidence-based musings. You could say you did it for charity/to support a friend/relative having chemo, but I kind of feel like lying about it is worse...
Well, you cannot know for sure who will interview you. It could be some old, stuck up *******. Of course you could get an interviewer who doesn't care or one who thinks it looks cool.... who knows. It's best to show up looking as ordinary and 'normal' as you can, as someone else before me said, no unusual hairstyle/piercings/tattoos showing.
