Imperial ATAS

Why does Imperial have a deadline of 20 July for submitting ATAS? No other university have such deadlines. Isn't ATAS only important when applying for a visa? And we apply for visa's after getting results in August so why is there such an early deadline.

I'm not sure... I'm also applying for ATAS clearance, and my estimated decision date is July 25th. Really hoping they get to mine a bit earlier!!!

Yes, the deadline on UCAS track says 20 July

I eventually ended up getting accepted by Imperial! But this is not guaranteed at all, so try your best to get your ATAS in on time!
