It's worth going through a quick benefit check (I've used both entitledto and Turn2Us with my clients at Citizens Advice, both are decent) to be 100% certain. They ask all the relevant questions regarding housing, savings and other income etc to confirm whether or not you'd be eligible, and will give you an idea of the amount as well.
