There is limited parking around Uni and this needs a permit to be able to be accessed. These permits are only given out for specific circumstances (which should be able to be found somewhere on the uni website). Durham is a walkable city with decent public transport links, if living anywhere around the centre having a car and driving it between destinations is possibly more hassle than it’s worth.
