Have any dispensing opticians managed to progress into optometry?
I'm interested in the field but I'm not sure about doing another 3 bachelor's year degree as it's expensive. There seems to be a few masters courses (e.g. Aston University's Optometry/Ophthalmic Science MSc) I can apply to if I've worked as a registered dispensing optician for some time.
This admission is dependent on merit and I don't want to put my hopes on it if it's nearly impossible or inadvisable to do this.
Has anyone managed this?
